I need to find a flaw in you…then I can obsess over it and not want to see you again….like I do with everyone else…but alas … you are flawless…but you cannot be, there must be a flaw somewhere….

I awake today and look at the alarm clock as it rings….I am having difficulty understanding the time.  It appears alien to me. 6:00? What exactly does it mean? It does not seem to follow the pattern as yesterday, it looks different some how. I lay in bed reassembling my thoughts. I am trying to discern if I will be late for work, yet I do not emerge from under the covers. My bed is my refuge from life.  Asleep I can escape the pain of life. Awake I must confront it, but I never do… I am not confrontational when it comes to my life.  Life overwhelms me.

” If anyone is on Twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time zone to GMT +3.30. Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. The more people at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut Iranians’ access to the internet down. Cut & paste & pass it on.

  1. I killed my iPod… no not killed… I injured my iPod.  I was gonna go for a run and I have this shirt with a pocket on the back side.  So… erring on the cautious side, I preformed a jog test.  I put my Pod in the pocket and jogged in place. FAIL! My Pod tried to commit suicide and leapt from my pocket.  The screen is now… well… it looks like an etchasketch in the process of being erased.  I guess I should look on the bright side….it still plays.
  2. When I put my Pod on shuffle…it can read my mind…the songs tend to play to my mood…
  3. I got a new phone the other day…a Blackberry.  It only further validates my inadequacy with electronics….call me….le sigh
  4. My son…Paddy…told me today that Simi Valley has radioactive contamination….::blink::…I didn’t know that.  Evidently Boeing’s Rocketdyne had a testing site in the Simi Hills…and the ground water in the areas beneath the lab is known to be contaminated with TCE (trichloroethylene).  This supports my daughter…Chelsea’s…stand on bottled drinking water.

I am going to try and start this blog again. Try to keep it upbeat and true to life. I shall try to write a little history of this single mom of 6 to let you all know where I am coming from in this roller coaster of a ride I call life.

My GPS disconnected when I answered a text from my daughter, Lacey. I restarted and here is the rest of my walk.

Everyday she when she awoke, the thoughts of the day plodded thru her mind. She was in a dead end job and could see no way out. It would not have been half bad, if only they would give her something to do. However, most of the time was spent sitting at her desk…listening to her iPod and scribbling on blank pieces of paper…..waiting….watching….as the clock silently tics away the time until she can escape this place, if only for a brief time………::::heavy sigh:::::

She felt useless…no one counted on her anymore…they did not come to her for advice…all they could afford her was a sideways glance as they walked by… and this…this …act of silent disparagement only further validated her feelings of being cast aside.

It appears…. that I live my life vicariously… thru the blogs of others…..
